A Summer Cooking Class for students at Bitter Lake Community Center!

In July, several of the North Seattle media ran a story about Cooking with Chef Mina at Bitter Lake Community Center. This was a successful partnership between the community center, The Polytech, and Bright Future Dollars for Scholars. The story was published by the Shoreline Area News, the Lake Forest Park Town Crier, Patch, and Elevate Washington

We at Bright Future Dollars for Scholars were very pleased to help fund this summer program to enable any student to participate without concern for cost. The eight students who participated made some very delicious food, which seemed to entice all  in the building. Pumpkin chocolate muffins and chicken alfredo at the most recent session would indeed attract attention. Read more about the skills taught by clicking one of the links above.
